Biography:
John M.
Breckenridge served as city attorney for Birmingham, Alabama. He joined the city’s
law
department as an assistant city attorney in 1948. In 1960, he was appointed city
attorney by then-Mayor
James W. (Jimmie) Morgan. Breckenridge served under five mayors and retired in
1974.
