World War Memorial of the Syria Mosque of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, dedicated in 1921, to commemorate the members who served. One of *four Sphinx nine feet long cast in bronze and mounted on granite bases. On the bronze bases immediately supporting the majestic Sphinx are tablets bearing five hundred names.
