Overdue Books Amnesty at Birmingham Public Library

BIRMINGHAM, AL --The Birmingham Public Library announces a "Book Amnesty" in celebration of National Library Week. Birmingham Public Library borrowers are encouraged to return their overdue books and library materials without penalty or charges during the amnesty to be held April 6-12, 2003.

The "Book Amnesty" is only for materials that are returned to The Birmingham Public Library and its 20 branch locations. Lost items or previous overdue charges will not be included.
