Birmingham Public Library To Host Blood Drive
For Patrons

BIRMINGHAM, AL -- The Birmingham Public Library will be hosting a blood drive for LifeSouth Community Blood Centers on Tuesday, November 26, 2002. Beginning at 9:00 am until 3:00 pm, patrons can donate blood in the Richard Arrington, Jr. Auditorium. A photo I.D. is required to donate blood and all donors will receive a thank you gift. There will also be cholesterol screening for all donors.

LifeSouth is a nonprofit, charitable organization that supplies blood components to more than 90 medical facilities in Alabama, Florida and Georgia. LifeSouth is licensed by the FDA, accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks, and is a member of America’s Blood Centers and AABB.
