Brown Bag Lunches At The Birmingham
Public Library During January
Please join us at the Birmingham Public Library
each Wednesday during January at 12:00 noon for our Brown Bag Lunch series.
These programs will be held in the Arrington Auditorium of the Linn-Henley
Building at the Birmingham Public Library, 2100 Park Place. Bring your
lunch, the Library provides a beverage. Reservations are not necessary.

Richard Crew, Vice President and Senior
Financial Consultant at Merrill Lynch, will discuss strategies for investing
in turbulent times.
Wednesday, January 16
Eugenia Evans, Director of Public
Information & Education for the Birmingham branch of the Arthritis
Foundation, will present a discussion on taking control of arthritis pain.
Wednesday, January 23
Attorney Jim Noles, author of Images of
America: Alabama Power Company, will discuss his new book and Alabama
Power’s role in the industrial history of the State of Alabama.
Wednesday, January 30
A Hand-in-Paw trainer will discuss animal
assisted therapy and their organization’s role in educating pet owners in
the use of animals to comfort the sick and elderly. One of Hand-in-Paw’s
specially trained pets will also join us for this exciting program. |
