Wednesday during July at 12:00 noon for our Brown Bag Lunch series. These
programs will be held in the Arrington Auditorium of the Linn-Henley
Building at the Birmingham Public Library, 2100 Park Place. Bring your
lunch, the Library provides a beverage. Reservations are not necessary.

NOVEL LUNCHES
JULY 11
Jan Zimlich, an Alabama author from Mobile will discuss the necessary
ingredients for a good science fiction romance novel. She adds a dash of
flavor and uniqueness.
JULY 18
Pam Kingsford and independent scholar from Florence, Alabama will whet
your appetites with a discussion of works, which present characters that are
viewed as "good old" Southern boys. This school of writing has
become an acceptable tradition in American literature.
JULY 25
Always a treat, Delores Hydock will put the cherry on the icing with a
dramatic interpretation from one of her favorite works of fiction. Hydock is
a well-known actress and storyteller and she combines these talents in this
presentation.
