Storyteller Barbara McBride-Smith is coming to the Birmingham Public Library. McBride-Smith's performances are a blend of entertainment, education, and humor. She is a comedian, historian, and storyteller all rolled into one. Author of several books and tapes, McBride-Smith was recently selected for a National Storytelling Network Circle of Excellence Award. Join us at one of the following Birmingham Public Library locations for a memorable performance.

Thursday, November 1
North Birmingham Regional Branch Library: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Avondale Regional Branch Library: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Friday, November 2
Wylam Branch Library: 9:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m.
Five Points Regional Branch Library: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Southside Branch Library: 4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Saturday, November 3
Birmingham Public Library, downtown location: 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Springville Road Regional Branch Library: 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.

These family events are free and opened to the public. A book signing will follow each performance. Tapes will also be available.

Reservations are not necessary but seating is limited so arrive early.
