Wednesday during August at 12:00 noon for our Brown Bag Lunch series. These
programs will be held in the Arrington Auditorium of the Linn-Henley
Building at the Birmingham Public Library, 2100 Park Place. Bring your
lunch, the Library provides a beverage. Reservations are not necessary.

Dr. Vernon Pegram, Professor of Pulmonary & Critical Care and
Co-Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at the University of
Alabama-Birmingham, will discuss sleep and wake disorders. He will examine
current trends in the treatment of sleep disorders.

David Ramp, Business Counselor, UAB Small Business Development Center,
will present an overview of starting and operating a small business. Mr.
Ramp will also discuss the sources and services provided by the UAB Small
Business Development Center.

Please join us to hear Sue Adams from the Jefferson County Master
Gardener Association talk about hummingbirds. Ms. Adams will show a video
highlighting the habits of the quick and beautiful birds, and discuss how to
entice them into your backyard.

Trev Brown, Assistant Vice President, Federal Reserve Bank of
Atlanta/Birmingham Branch, will discuss Federal Reserve branch operations
with special attention devoted to the Birmingham Branch.
