Inglenook Library to host Appreciation for Women in Inglenook program

BIRMINGHAM, Ala.-Inglenook Library is hosting a program showing appreciation for women in the Inglenook Community on Friday, May 19. The program will take place from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the library, 4100 40th Terrace North.

Inglenook Library wanted to spotlight several women in the community who support the library and area residents, said Branch Manager Karnecia Williams. There will be speakers addressing issues such as skin care, self-esteem, and other prominent issues that affect women every day, she said.

“Women work hard. Constantly juggling families, jobs, bills, etc., leave many women depleted and exhausted,” Williams said. “Join the Inglenook Library for an evening of relaxation and empowerment.”

For more information, call Williams at 205-849-8739 or email her at
