Holiday Activities Planned at BPL through End of the Year

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama—Residents of the Birmingham-Hoover metro area will have plenty of opportunities to get in the holiday mood during the month of December at many of the 19 locations of the Birmingham Public Library (BPL) system.
Need a gift for friends and family? Adult and teen crafters will be arranging colorful beads on chains to create the perfect gift at the Southside Branch Library on Saturday, December 12. The class is limited to 12 crafters. Call Southside Library at 205-933-7776 to reserve your place in advance.  Some branches began hosting holiday events beginning in November.  December Christmas activities began on Tuesday, December 1, as the West End Branch Library hosted Christmas Wreaths Made Easy, featuring florist Jamie Reeves of Bolin Reeves Florist.
