Tonight’s Coloring for Adults workshop at Central Library canceled due to threat of severe weather

BIRMINGHAM, Alabama—The Birmingham Public Library (BPL) has canceled plans to host its popular Coloring for Adults workshop tonight, Feb. 23, at the Central Library downtown due to the threat of severe weather.
The Central Library will reschedule the free event for some time in March, said Karyn Davis-West, public services coordinator.  The Five Points West Regional Branch Library, 4812 Ave. W, is hosting a Coloring For Adults program on March 9 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
For more details on the Coloring for Adults program and other activities planned throughout BPL, go to and click on the calendar. Follow the Birmingham Public Library on Facebook and Twitter @BPL. The mission of the Birmingham Public Library is to provide the highest quality library service to our citizens for life-long learning, cultural enrichment, and enjoyment. This system – with 19 locations and serving the community for 129 years – is one of the largest library systems in the southeast.
