Pratt City Branch Library raising awareness of breast cancer during month of October
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama-The Pratt City Branch Library, one of 19 locations in the Birmingham Public Library system, is recognizing breast cancer victims during the month of October.
To raise awareness of breast cancer, the Pratt City Library at 509 Dugan Ave. has placed pink balloons throughout the library and is issuing the breast cancer symbol to patrons who check out materials, branch manager Deborah Drake Blackmon said.

- Halloween Party with a movie and Halloween candy or bag give-a-ways, Monday, Oct. 31, 3-5 p.m.
