Affordable health care workshops to be held at the Birmingham Public Library
BIRMINGHAM, Alabama—Representatives of Alabama Regional Medical Services will present several free affordable health care workshops in partnership with the Birmingham Public Library (BPL). The workshops will be held at different city libraries the next four Wednesdays, beginning at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2016 at the Pratt City Branch Library, 509 Dugan Ave.
During the workshops, Birmingham-based Alabama Regional Medical Services experts will present facts on the Affordable Care Act, the national health insurance program better known as ObamaCare. No registration is required.
Four workshops will take place at BPL locations between Nov. 16 and Dec. 7. The schedule is as follows:
• Wednesday, Nov. 16 at 10 a.m., Pratt City Branch Library, 509 Dugan Avenue
• Wednesday, Nov. 23 at 10 a.m., Smithfield Branch Library, #1 8th Avenue W
• Wednesday, Nov. 30 at 10 a.m., North Birmingham Regional Library, 2501 31th Ave. N
• Wednesday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m., Springville Road Regional Library, 1224 Old Springville Road
