The Chinese Britannica Concise Encyclopedia contains 27,000 articles in Simplified Chinese with 2,000 images and 200 maps. Primary subject areas include Life Science, Natural Science, Social Science, Engineering and Technology, History, Geography, Philosophy and Religion, Humanity and Arts, and Sports and Recreation. Article titles are provided in both English and Simplified Chinese for easier search and retrieval.

November is National Novel Writing Month—NaNoWriMo for short. During November thousands of aspiring writers sign up at nanowrimo.org and pledge to write a 50,000 word short novel in thirty days. NaNoWriMo provides a deadline for writers to meet and connects aspiring authors with a worldwide community of fellow writers sharing the same dream.

Opening Reception for Attorney Shores' Scrapbook Exhibit, November 4
