The FindLaw Guide, a comprehensive index of links to resources in more than

into the site is LawCrawler, an innovative search engine that provides

Legal
Information Institute
Operated by the Cornell University School of Law, this site
offers a plethora of information regarding federal and state laws, rules of
evidence, the United States Code, Supreme Court rules, glossary of legal
terms, Code of Federal Regulations, the United States Constitution and
Supreme Court decisions. The
section entitled "Laws About" provides links to laws pertaining to
a particular entity and is extremely comprehensive and, most important, easy
to use. Links to
federal and state statutes are provided as well as links to recent Supreme
Court rulings. Cornell’s
Supreme Court Collection is superior to any other collection found on
the web. The Supreme
Court Collection provides data on the Court’s decisions for the
current session as well as the court calendar, oral argument schedule and
questions presented in cases to be heard. The site contains over 600
of the Court’s most historic decisions through the period of its
existence. The decisions are easily accessible via party name, topic and
opinion author. Once a particular case has been chosen, the site responds
with a syllabus and the full decision reached by the Court. In addition, the
site provides a biographical gallery of current and former Supreme Court
justices. http://www.law.cornell.edu/

limit a search for lawyers or firms specializing in a certain practice area.
The site also contains categories pertaining to the profession, including
associations and a listing of law schools, links provided. http://martindale.com/
