Social Studies Test
The GED Social Studies Test contains 50 multiple-choice questions to be
answered in 70 minutes.
The questions are from the following content areas:
- U.S. History (25%)
- World History (15%)
- Geography (15%)
- Civics and Government (25%)
- Economics (20%)
Most of the test questions are based on written texts and images drawn from a
variety of sources.
The information provided may be:
- One or more paragraphs
- Charts and tables
- Graphs
- Maps
- Editorial cartoons and photographs
To answer the questions you must understand, apply, analyze, or evaluate the
information provided.
