Watercolor painting of Elize Castleman from Kentucky clothed in a long dress with flowers and sitting on a bench. Painted for A Calendar of Southern Beauties, published by Frederick Stokes Co. in 1894 and sold at the Atlanta Exposition. Painting was also used to illustrate the poetry of Samuel Minturn Peck in his book Fair Women of To-day.
