Watercolor painting of Queenie Woods from Tennessee clothed in a black dress and holding yellow poppies. Painted for A Calendar of Southern Beauties, published by Frederick Stokes Co. in 1894 and sold at the Atlanta Exposition. Painting was also used to illustrate the poetry of Samuel Minturn Peck in his book Fair Women of To-day.
